Mason City Farmers Market Vendor Information

Applications are now open for the 2024 season!

Please review the Mason City Farmers Market Rules for the 2024 Season.

Vendor fees for the 2024 season are as follows:

  • First time produce and/or meat vendors: FREE! This is for anyone who did not sell meat or produce in the 2023 season.

  • One Time: FREE! Want to to try it out before committing? Set up at market one time at no cost. $10 after the first free drop in.

  • Four Weeks: $40. If you can't commit to every weekend, this is for you. Multiple passes may be purchased.

  • Full Season: $125

All vendors must complete a vendor application with at least two week’s notice before attending, and receive approval from the MCFM Board. The board will review applications and vendors will be notified by email as to the board’s decision.

Youth vending

We welcome young entrepreneurs! If you are under 18, MCFM will help you get your business going. The market will provide a tent and table for youth vendors. Full details and rules are available here.

  • The Iowa WIC FMNP and Senior FMNP are Congressionally authorized programs with the following goals:

    To provide fresh, nutritious, unprepared, locally grown fruits, vegetables, and herbs from farmers markets and farmstands to nutritionally at-risk women, infants, children, and low-income seniors.

    To increase the domestic consumption of agricultural commodities by expanding or aiding in the expansion of famers markets, farmstands and CSA programs.

    To develop or aid in the development of new and additional farmers markets, farmstands and CSA programs.
